Formed in Oakland, CA in 2010 by drummer/vocalist Justin Green and bassist/vocalist Erika Osterhout. Handling guitar duties themselves w/ guest solos by Danny Corralles of AUTOPSY, the duo recorded four tracks in 2011 and released βTorn From Beyondβ as a 12β³ mini-LP on Osterhoutβs own label Lunar Tomb Records. never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too.

I'm exploring Blood Incantation's back catalog. This early work may have more primitive production, but they were already a fully-formed group of creative virtuosos. This music is controlled chaos. It's fast. There are tons of changes. It's unpredictable. But it never becomes unpleasant because there is always groove and melody and space.
